What a reading is, and what it is not.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
1. For entertainment and self-reflection
SajuNstar offers readings from four systems: Saju, the Western zodiac, a four-letter type you enter yourself, and tarot. These are ways of describing character and timing that many people enjoy. They are not sciences, and we do not present them as such. SajuNstar is provided for entertainment purposes only.
A reading on SajuNstar talks about tendencies and themes. It is not a forecast of what will happen to you, and it does not promise any result.
2. Not professional advice
A reading says nothing reliable about your physical or mental condition, how long you will live, whether you will have children, the result of a legal matter, or how an investment will perform, and readings on SajuNstar are written under rules that keep them from claiming to.
It is not a substitute for a doctor, therapist, lawyer or financial advisor. Please do not use a reading to make decisions about your body, your safety, a legal matter or your money.
3. Written with AI
The interpretations on SajuNstar are produced with an AI language model, following our own interpretation guide. The texts of the free profile were written in advance and are selected in your browser to match your chart. A paid report is written for you after purchase. Neither comes from a human reader.
The guide itself was drafted with AI, and neither the guide nor the texts have been checked by a traditional practitioner. AI-written text can contain mistakes or read differently from what a human practitioner would say.
4. About the calculation
Chart values are worked out by fixed calculation code. We check it against published observatory solar-term times for 2026 to 2028 and against several independent open-source calculators. "Checked" describes the calculation only. It says nothing about whether an interpretation is true for you.
- The day and hour pillars use local mean time at the birthplace (a correction for longitude), not the clock time of the time zone.
- The day pillar changes at midnight, local mean time. A birth between 11 p.m. and midnight keeps that day's pillar and takes its hour stem from the next day.
- The year pillar changes at Ipchun (the Start of Spring, around February 4), not on January 1 or at Lunar New Year. Month pillars change at twelve of the twenty-four solar terms. We time these to the minute.
- If you were born within a few minutes of a boundary, we show a notice. Within about two minutes of a solar term, reference sources themselves differ.
- For births before 1970, time-zone and daylight-saving records are less complete, and the offset we use can be an hour off in some places. We mark these charts.
Other calculators follow other conventions and can show a different chart, most often a different hour pillar. Neither is wrong; they follow different rules.
5. About Saju
Saju (사주, "four pillars") belongs to the four-pillar tradition shared across East Asia. It is known as BaZi in Chinese and Shichū suimei in Japanese. SajuNstar presents it as it is practiced in Korea.
6. No chart is a bad chart
We do not tell anyone that their chart is unfortunate, and we do not sell charms, rituals or fixes. If a reading from any source leaves you frightened, that is a reason to distrust the reading.
7. If you are struggling
If you are in distress or thinking about harming yourself, please put the reading down and contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country, or talk to someone you trust. A reading cannot give you that help.
